Terms of Use and Service Engagements

Company and scope

These terms describe use of the SIEM Consulting LLC website, accounts, reference resources, and assessment tools. Paid consulting services are governed by a separately accepted service agreement and statement of work. Where website information differs from a signed service agreement, the signed agreement governs that engagement.

Accounts and authorised use

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and use only accounts and systems you are authorised to access. Do not share passwords, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or use the website or assessment tools to test systems without permission.

Consultation and service engagements

The initial consultation is $5,000 USD. Services are tailored to the agreed scope and billed hourly at the standard rate of $150 USD per hour, with scope-specific pricing for longer-term agreements.

The minimum service contract is one year, equivalent to 2,000 hours at $150 per hour, totaling $300,000 USD. SIEM Consulting LLC builds long-term client relationships and does not offer three- or six-month service engagements.

  • 1-year engagement: $300,000 USD total. 2,000 hours at $150 per hour.
  • 3-year engagement: $800,000 USD total. Total engagement price, subject to scope.
  • 5-year engagement: $1,200,000 USD total. Total engagement price, subject to scope.

All engagement pricing is subject to the agreed scope. Multi-year totals are not annual fees. The written service agreement establishes included hours, deliverables, hourly billing arrangements, consultation-fee treatment, invoicing, payment schedules, expenses, additional work, change control, renewal, and termination terms. These details are not established by selecting an option on the website.

Requests and contract formation

Submitting an enquiry or requesting a service does not create a service contract, reserve capacity, or authorise work. Scope, access permissions, commercial terms, and the start date must be agreed before delivery begins. Changes to agreed services require approval through the engagement's change-control process.

Assessment evidence and results

Submit only information you are authorised to use. Remove credentials, tokens, private keys, and unnecessary personal data before submitting evidence. Assessments evaluate the supplied evidence within their stated scope; they do not themselves authorise changes to production systems. Record the asset scope, evidence date, baseline version, and exceptions when interpreting results. CIS-based readiness assessments are not CIS certification.

Client information and deliverables

Access, confidentiality, data handling, retention, and rights to engagement deliverables are defined in the written service agreement. Do not submit confidential client configurations through the public contact form. Use the agreed delivery process for engagement evidence.

Website access and updates

SIEM Consulting LLC may update website content and tools, perform maintenance, and restrict access associated with misuse or unauthorised activity. Material changes to a paid engagement are handled under its signed agreement rather than by editing this page.
